People’s Police Higher School 3 opens new academic year
PSNews – The People’s Police Higher School 3 (T49), based in Can Tho, organized a ceremony to open the new academic year 2017-18.

Major General Bui Minh Giam, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics (G.D 3) attended the ceremony.
In his opening remark, Senior Colonel Dang Chi Thanh, Rector of the T49, said that in the previous academic year, the school always maintained unity and strived to improve its educational programs.
The school opened regular courses with 8 training majors, as well as specialized training courses for the forces, which received appreciation from various units. Additionally, the T49 also gained various achievements in other fields, including compiling training materials and scientific research, logistics, and management and education of students.
The school was honored with the Fatherland Defense Order of third class by the State President in recognition of its achievements in the 10 years of its development. In the 2016-2017 academic year, 4 divisions under the T49 were awarded Flags of Emulation by the Ministry of Public Security and G.D 3.
Major General Bui Minh Giam spoke highly of the achievements gained by the School in the past time.
He also stressed that the public security forces undertake hard missions of maintaining national security, social order and safety in the current context.

“In the new academic year, I hope that our school will apply the advanced methods of teaching and educational management; promote learners’ proactive and innovative attitude for better quality of the forces. I also hope that the school will soon have the appropriate solutions to strengthen its staff to meet the requirements of both quality and quantity. It was also asked to upgrade teaching facilities and equipment, meeting the education training requirements in the new situation so that it can become a prestigious and high-quality education institution in the public security forces,” said the Major General.
