Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order reviews task performance
Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended and addressed the event. Major General Pham Cong Nguyen, Director of the PDAMSO chaired the event.
Reports at the conference read that, in H1, under the direction of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), the department and the social order management police force actively coordinated with Party Committees and authorities of localities across the country in managing, maintaining social order, and especially realizing the National Database on Population Project.
According to reports at the meeting, by June 27, social order management police divisions in localities have collected 56,290,930 application dossiers for citizen IDs, reaching 112.6% of the set target.
Especially, the PDAMSO also collaborated with relevant units to advise the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to successfully launch the National Database on Population (NDP) system and the system of producing, managing and granting citizens’ e-ID card and also officially put the two systems in operation on July 1.
The successes of the two projects were highly appreciated by leaders of the Party and State, as well as other ministries, branches and localities.
Speaking at the event, on behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the MPS, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc hailed the social order management sector’s achievements in performing its tasks and implementing the two projects.
Regarding the sector’s major tasks in the last 6 months of 2021, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc asked the PDAMSO to strictly and effectively implement the Resolution of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and the Directives of the Minister of Public Security on the implementation of the 2021 working program.
In particular, the unit must implement synchronous measures to completely treat 100% of the data on national population, grant ID cards to all citizens aged 14 and over, and ensure network safety, security and information security for the two systems.
In addition, the unit should enhance administrative reforms so as to create favorable conditions for the people while improving the efficiency of the management of weapons, explosives and supporting tools. |
