Professional training course launched for Southern traffic police officers

PSNews – The Traffic Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security on July 13 launched a training course in Can Tho City on investigating, handling traffic accidents and traffic violations for 309 leaders of under-department agencies and police units in the South.

The training course, which runs from July 13 to 17, provides traffic police officers with basic contents of the Ministry of Public Security's circulars regarding the processes of investigating and handling traffic accidents and offences on roads and inland waterways.

The training course also covers other topics such as methods of collecting and preserving trace evidence as well as of assessing and examining trace evidence at scenes of accidents.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the course, leaders of the Traffic Police Department and the Can Tho Municipal Police Department asked the trainees to raise their sense of responsibility during the course and attend all classes.

After the course, the trainees are expected to effectively apply their acquired knowledge and skills in their work so as to step up reforms of administrative procedures and improve the quality of services for the people.
