Public Security Deputy Minister briefs Hanoi police on Politburo'sResolution No.51

Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, on March 30 briefed key officials of the Hanoi police on the Politburo's Resolution No. 51-NQ/TW and documents adopted by the 7th Public Security Party Congress.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang requested Party committees at all levels of the Hanoi police to popularize the key contents of Resolution No. 51 to local police officers so that they can learn major contents of the resolution, including the current national security situation, national security objectives, new perceptions on national security, and the guidelines for the Public Security Forces to firmly protect the national security.
He also asked the city’s police units to put the Resolution’s contents in their working programs and implement them effectively.
Deputy Minister Quang also requested the Party organization of the Hanoi police to work out plans and drastic measures to prevent and fight plots and sabotage activities by reactionary and hostile forces as well as to crack down on crimes of all kinds. It should also pay due attention to building a Hanoi revolutionary, elite and gradually modernized police force, Deputy Minister Quang added.
