Soc Trang Police asked to well control organized crime and petty theft

At the working session, Senior Colonel Le Minh Quang, Director of the Soc Trang Provincial Police briefed the deputy minister and the delegation on the outcomes of the local police’s task performance in 2016. Reports said, the provincial police force has maintained absolute local security and safety, well contributing to the economic and social development of the locality.

“The Soc Trang Provincial Police has actively advised the provincial Party organizations and authorities, and implemented many plans, aiming to ensure national security and social safety”, Senior Colonel Le Minh Quang said and added that the forces have also made major efforts, not to occur any “black spot” on social order and organized crime.

The Director of the Soc Trang Provincial Police also reported that the local police in 2016 has well implemented the movement of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example while focusing on Party building and force building.

Speaking at the meeting with the provincial police, on behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Deputy Minister praised the provincial police force for their achievements in the past time. He also expressed deep thanks to the provincial leadership, authorities and branches for their well collaboration with the Public Security Forces in general and the Soc Trang Provincial Police in particular.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son then urged the Soc Trang police force to strictly implement the Resolution of the 12th Party Central Committee’s 4th Meeting on Party building and Directive 05 of the Politburo on enhancing the movement “Learning and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, moral and style.”

All staff of the Soc Trang Provincial Police should well learn the direction by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on intensifying Party building and building clean and strong People Public Security Forces, Deputy Minister Son said.

The provincial police was also asked to heighten sense of responsibility to complete all assigned tasks, to take effective measures to prevent and control organized crimes, aiming to improve efficiency of the police work.

Deputy Minister Son also asked the Soc Trang police force to well handle the local situation of petty theft, aiming to bring absolute safety to the people.

At the working session, Mr. Tran Van Chuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Soc Trang Provincial People’s Committee spoke highly of the outcomes in all aspects attained by the Soc Trang Provincial Police. He then asked the Ministry of Public Security to advise the Party, State on new measures to ensure local social order and safety in the new context.
