Staff of Prison 6 receives Feat of Arm Order first class

• 4,200 prisoners to receive pardon
• Phuoc Hoa prison receives Fatherland Protection Order of 3rd class
• Creating conditions for expired prisoners to reintegrate back into the community

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended and addressed the event.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son awarded the Order

Deputy Minister Son spoke highly of the efforts and endeavors by all officers and workers of the prison. They have overcome numerous difficulties over the past time to accomplish all assigned tasks. He also congratulated various groups and individuals working at the prison who had been honored by different agencies and departments.

Mr. Son stressed that the situation of crime and law violations well as enforcement of imprisonment will see complicated developments in the future, which requires practical solutions and actions to cope with it. 

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son also urged leaders,officers and workers of Prison No.6 to be aware that all imprisonment activities should aim to achieve the highest goal of educating and rehabilitating prisoners to become honest and useful citizens int the future. 

He also asked the prison’s staff to proactively take comprehensive measures, seriously implement the Laws on Criminal Execution, maintain safety and security in the detainment areas in all circumstances, and prevent prisoners from rioting.

Various individuals and teams were honored

Additionally, it is important to enhance inspection, detect on time and settle any shortcomings and defects in the management, custody, education and rehabilitation of prisoners. All leaders and officers should actively grasp the situation, uncover, prevent and deal with cases concerning torture of, other bad treatment toward or collaboration with criminals.

Under the authorization of the State President, Deputy Minister Son awarded the Feat of Arm Order of first class to the staff of Prison Number 6; Feat of Arm Order of second class to Senior Colonel Nguyen Viet Hoan.

Various other teams and individuals were also awarded with Certificates of Merit in the event.
