Training course on search and rescue skills on waterways opened

PSNews – The Minister of Public Security on November 1 opened a training course on search and rescue skills on waterways and how to use watercraft to conduct search and rescue missions.

The training session was participated in by 108 officers from various Southern police units.
The course runs from December 1 to 4.
The 4-day training course provides trainees with various topics, including response to climate change, natural disaster prevention, search and rescue, procedures for response to incidents and natural disasters, and developing civil defense plans.
The training course also includes disaster relief, responses to possible scenarios of climate change, and climate trends in the coming time.
Within the course, the trainees will learn how to use watercraft to conduct search and rescue missions.
They are also provided with knowledge of State management over natural disaster prevention, search and rescue activities.
