Vietnamese language and culture course for foreign public security students kicks off

The Public Security Ministry of Vietnam kicked off the 10th Vietnamese language and culture course for foreign public security students on June 6, in Hanoi.
This course, jointly organized by the Public Security Ministry of Vietnam and the University of Languages and International Studies (the Vietnam National University), is part of the Public Security Ministry’s foreign affairs activities. The course is participated by public security students from Laos, Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Japan, Korea, Belarus Republic and Czech Republic.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, on behalf of the leadership of the Public Security Ministry, a leader of the Department of Foreign Affair stated that the Public Security Ministry of Vietnam has been continuously expanding cooperation with foreign countries’ law enforcement agencies, police and public security forces through many practical and meaningful activities.
Over the past years, the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam has sent hundreds of officers and soldiers abroad for training, while welcoming hundreds of foreign public security students to study Vietnamese language and culture.
The course not only aims to improve Vietnamese language skills but also provides knowledge of Vietnamese culture and people for foreign students.
After the course, the graduates will hopefully serve as friendship bridges, helping foster relations, solidarity between Vietnam and their countries.
