Average administrative reform index of public security agencies and units reaches over 80%
The Ministry of Public Security held a conference, on the afternoon of November 15, in Hanoi, to announce the results of the administrative reform index based on the results of measuring the satisfaction of people and organizations when working with agencies and units under the Ministry of Public Security in 2023.
According to the report, in 2023, the average administrative reform index of the public security agencies and units that do not directly provide public services nor handle administrative procedures got 83.18% while that of the ones that directly provide public services or handle administrative procedures for people and organizations reached 86.72%.
The average index of the provincial-level police departments was 91.16%.
The Ministry of Public Security also ranked the provincial-level police departments in terms of their administrative reforms.
Accordingly, 14 public security agencies and units were rated as Excellent, 84 were rated; 06 units and localities were ranked Good and 06 stood at Fair.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung discussed key tasks on administrative reforms and administrative procedure reforms that public security agencies and units should complete in 2024 and in the following years.

Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested leaders of public security agencies and units to uphold the sense of responsibility and direct their agencies and units to step up administrative reforms, administrative procedure reforms, digital transformation.
According to him, agencies and units should combine administrative reforms with restructuring of their organizational structure for more effectiveness and efficiency.
