Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung joins “All People Protecting National Security” Festival in Hoa Binh
Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung attended the opening ceremony of the “All People Protecting National Security” 2022 Festival held in My Thanh commune, Lac Son district, Hoa Binh on August 5.
The event saw the presence of Chairman of the Hoa Binh Provincial People’s Council Bui Duc Hinh, Chairman of the Hoa Binh Provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh, and Director of the Hoa Binh Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Le Xuan Minh, as well as other senior delegates.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung and Mr. Bui Van Khanh applauded the fruitful outcomes gained by the Party organizations and people of Hoa Binh and My Thanh commune in implementing the “All People Protecting National Security” movement over the pastime.
Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung also hoped, the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee as well as relevant local agencies will pay more attention to the movement.
He wished that the movement would draw more participation of people at grassroots levels as well as enterprises.
The deputy minister also asked the police force in Hoa Binh to step up administrative reforms to facilitate the people in doing public procedures, mobilize people to surrender illegally stored weapons, explosives and combat gears, and enhance fire safety regulation dissemination.
The local police should also launch more social activities targeting disadvantaged people, including providing free medical check-ups and medicines for poor people, visiting and presenting gifts to policy beneficiary households, reputable persons and poor students, organising more cultural and sport events to tighten the close relations between the police and the people.
On this occasion, various individuals with outstanding achievements in the “All People Protecting National Security” movement were honored by the Ministry of Public Security and the Hoa Binh Provincial Police Department.
