Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung receives Mongolian Ambassador

Deputy Minister, Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung on December 5 received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Vietnam Jigjee Sereejav.

Speaking at the reception, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung highlighted the state visit to Vietnam by Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh in November 2023.

Especially, the Mogolian President and Vietnamese President also visited the Mobile Police Command under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), and enjoyed amazing performances of officers of the Cavalry Police Corps under the Mobile Police Command.

After the show, President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh said, he was so impressed on by the Vietnamese police officers who had tamed and cared horses of the Mongolian origin quickly and well.

On behalf of the MPS, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung thanked President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh and the Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs of Mongolia for presenting additional 100 horses to the Vietnamese Police Force.

He also hoped that the Mongolian side will further assist the Vietnamese side in training and caring for the horses, which will support Vietnamese police officers in patrolling and ensuring security and order.

Vietnam and Mongolia will mark 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties in 2024. The MPS hopes that the Mongolian top diplomat and the Mongolian Embassy in Vietnam will continue supporting the cooperation between the MPS and relevant Mongolian agencies, contributing to promoting the traditional friendship between the two countries in general, and between Mongolia's relevant agencies and the MPS in particular.

The Mongolian Ambassador sincerely thanked Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung for the warm reception and expressed delight at the good developments in relations between the two countries and relevant Mongolian agencies and the MPS in recent times.

The Ambassador affirmed that he would do his best to promote cooperation and relations between the two countries in general, between relevant Mongolian agencies and the Vietnamese MPS in particular, for the benefits of the two peoples, for peace and stability in the region and the world.
