Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen and Deputy Minister Mehmet Aktas have talks on security cooperation
PSNews - As a member of the high-level Vietnamese delegation officially visiting Turkey led by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Deputy Minister of Public Security Major General Le Van Tuyen had talks with Deputy Minister of the Interior of the host country Mehmet Aktas during the visit.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen affirmed that the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam considered the visit of the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation to Türkiye as an important milestone and breakthrough in the relations between the two countries, which could create favorable conditions for the two ministries to expand security cooperation, contributing to maintaining peace and security in the region and the world.
Accordingly, the two high-ranking officials agreed to promote friendly relations and multi-faceted cooperation between the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, the Ministry of Interior and relevant Turkish agencies in the fields of order and security, policing, law enforcement and criminal justice, contributing to ensuring national security, social order and safety and the legitimate rights and interests of citizens of each country.
They also agreed to increase exchange of high-level delegations and experts, information sharing on crime prevention and control, especially information related to fake passports and other identity documents used to enter and exit each country while frequently organizing training programs to improve capacity in migration management, border management, and prevention of illegal immigration.
