Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen works with 19-8 Hospital
Major General Le Van Tuyen, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on March 15 worked with the 19-8 Hospital under the Ministry of Public Security.
At the meeting, Senior Colonel Hoang Thanh Tuyen, Director of the 19-8 Hospital briefed the deputy minister and other delegates on the main functions, missions and professional capacity of the hospital as well as its outstanding activities over the past time, particularly is achievements in health examination and treatment in the first quarter of 2022 and its work plans for the remaining months of 2022.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen appreciated the achievements and efforts of the hospital, especially in COVID-19 prevention and control over the past time.
He also asked the hospital to coordinate with relevant units to urgently develop a master plan to upgrade the hospital to a central-level hospitals by 2030.
In addition, it should frequently build capacity and improve professional skills for its medical staff, accelerate its healthcare administration reform, educate medical ethics for its medical staff, and provide high-quality medical services for patients.
