Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen works with staff of Public Security Hospital 199
Deputy Minister Major General Le Van Tuyen, leading a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), paid a working visit to Public Security Hospital 199 in Da Nang city on June 23.
The MPS delegation included leaders of the MPS Office, Departments of Health, Planning and Finance under the MPS.
At the meeting, Director of Hospital 199 Senior Colonel Quach Huu Trung revealed that the hospital with 568 medical workers is of the first-class provincial-level health facility under the MPS. According to him, the hospital has continued innovations in health examination and treatment.
At present, the hospital has 19 clinical wards, six paraclinical wards, five function sections with 23 examination rooms, four centers and a high-quality medical service center.
Specially, the hospital has recently invested in nutrition, endocrine and diabetes, and pediatrics examination wards as well as daycare center, cosmetic surgery center.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, staff of the hospital provided mobile healthcare services, such as health counseling, examination and treatment of patients at home.
To better serve patients as public security officers and people, the hospital is trying to improve the quality of its examination and treatment, attract high-quality human resources and retrain its staff as well as enhance its spearheaded fields to raise its trademark and status.
After checking the healthcare facilities of the hospital, Deputy Minister Tuyen highly valued the hospital’s investment in high-quality and modern equipment and machinery.
According to him, Hospital 199 as a first-class hospital, should give professional instructions to lower-level public security hospitals and infirmaries from Quang Binh province to Dak Nong.
The directorate of the hospital should actively advise leaders of the MPS to improve the quality and effectiveness of its healthcare services while focusing on developing a corps of doctors and experts excellent at professional expertise, meeting increasing needs for healthcare in the current context.
