Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc visits China
PSNews - At the invitation of the Ministry of Public Security of China, a high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam led by Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc paid a visit to China from April 11-15.
At the meeting between the two delegations, the two sides highly appreciated the cooperation results between the Ministries of Public Security of the two countries since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Over the past three years, cooperation between the two ministries has achieved positive results in all fields even during the complicated development of the pandemic.
On that basis, the two delegations agreed to continue expanding and deepening the bilateral cooperation in security and law enforcement as agreed between the leaders of the two Parties, the two countries and the Ministries of Public Security.
The two delegations also discuss approaches to strengthen mutual trust, security and law enforcement cooperation more effectively via sharing information about the global and regional situation, exchanging experience in ensuring security and safety for important political events, and coordinating with each other in protecting citizens of one country staying in the other.
Within the framework of the trip, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc visited local units operating the national population database, digital data systems, and some grassroots-level police units in China.
