Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long works with Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department
A delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), led by Deputy Minister, Major General Nguyen Van Long, had a meeting with key cadres of the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department on April 4.
At the meeting, the MPS delegation and leaders of the local police forces reviewed the outcomes of a campaign to inspect fire prevention and safety plans in residential areas, households and houses used for residential and commercial purposes in the province.
The MPS delegation was welcomed by Mr. Dao Quang Khai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Senior Colonel Bui Duy Hung, Director of the Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long appreciated the effort of the Provincial Police Department to enhance dissemination of fire safety and prevention regulations in the locality over the past time.
Regarding the local police’s tasks in the time to com, the deputy minister asked them to further advise the provincial authorities on fire prevention and fighting plans.
They should mobilize the whole political system, mass organizations, economic sectors as well as the people to join the police’s effort in preventing fire in the province.
For his part, Senior Colonel Bui Duy Hung promised to seriously follow the directions from Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Long and Mr. Dao Quang Khai.
The Provincial Police Department will immediately fix all shortcomings and develop effective fire prevention and fighting plans.
