As the fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic hit many localities across the country with large number of infected cases and deaths, the Public Security Forces have deployed more than 100,000 officers and soldiers to the frontline of the fight against the disease over the past time, while still maintaining security and order, contributing to realizing the "dual goals" of combating the pandemic and recovering the economy set by the Party and State.

Under the direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, public security officers and soldiers work round the clock. They come to each house, trace suspects of infections, carry out patrols on roads, in residential areas, and endure safety for quarantine zones and locked-down areas.

Furthermore, the public security health sector has participated actively in the fight against the pandemic. A large number of public security doctors and nurses are working at field hospitals to treat COVID-19 patients in pandemic-hit localities such as Bac Giang and Ho Chi Minh City.
