Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To meets voters in Bac Ninh
PSNews - Member of the National Assembly and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To and other deputies of the Bac Ninh’s National Assembly Delegation met with voters ahead of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly, on the afternoon of April 23rd, in Bong Lai ward, Que Vo town.
At the meeting, voters of Bong Lai ward voiced several issues regarding policies, financial support for rural roads upgrading, traffic lights installment, compensation and resettlement policies for the Lim – Pha Lai railway subproject, and water pollution in Tao Khe canal.
On behalf of the National Assembly Delegation of Bac Ninh, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested relevant agencies to early solve the questions and report to the Bac Ninh Province National Assembly Delegation as well as the local voters on the results in line with the regulations and laws.
Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To also released that the Party Central Committee is now focusing on renovating the Party's leadership methods, consolidating the organizational structure and undertaking salary reform of the armed forces, civil servants and public employees at all levels.
The Party and the Government’s leaders also attach much importance to promoting socio-economic development in disadvantaged localities, and implementing support policies for religious, ethnic minority communities.
Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To also highlighted the work of the Public Security Forces, saying that the forces focus on preventing and combating drug-related crime, corruption, cybercrime and economic crime.
Currently, the Ministry of Public Security is organized into four levels with the deployment of commissioned police officers to all communes and townships nationwide and the police are able to solve problems early and at the grassroots.
The deputy minister revealed that the National Assembly has just adopted the Law on Forces Participating in Security Protection at Grassroots, according to which there will be security forces to assist the communal police force in ensuring security and order.
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To hoped that the local Party committees and authorities as well as voters and all people continue supporting the Public Security Forces so that they can successfully perform the assigned tasks.
