General To Lam attends inauguration ceremony of Nghia Tru commune police’s workplace

Politburo member and Minister of Public Security General To Lam attended a ceremony to inaugurate the headquarters of the Nghia Tru Communal Police Post (Van Giang district, Hung Yen province), on January 30.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, General To Lam congratulated Nghia Tru commune’s police officers and soldiers on their new, spacious and modern workplace, and took the chance to thank local Party committees and authorities for their support for the project.

He also underlined that the project to build new premises for local commune-level police is part of a large-scale plan of the Ministry of Public Security to upgrade and construct workplaces for commune-level police units in line with Resolution No. 12 of the Politburo on building truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern People's Public Security Forces to meet the task requirements in the current situation.

On this occasion, Minister To Lam sent his thanks to the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province, and authorities at all levels in the province for their support and care for the local police force, and hoped that the leaders of the Hung Yen provincial government will continue to provide financial assistance and create favorable conditions for the local police to build or upgrade workplaces for the communal police force in the province, ensuring that 100% of the commune-level police posts in the province will have standard workplaces.
