Lai Chau police support electronic devices to their comrade’s students
The Lai Chau Provincial Police Department held a ceremony on December 10 to present children of police officers in need with electronic devices which already have data sim cards to connect to the Internet.
The Lai Chau Provincial Police Department held a ceremony on December 10 to present children of police officers in need with electronic devices which already have data sim cards to connect to the Internet.
The drive was part of the charity program "Internet connection and computers for children", which was launched by the Government.
In response to the call of the Lai Chau Provincial Police Department’s Youth Union, the young local police officers have donated more than 110 million VND to buy 10 set of computers to children of police officers in need.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Lai Chau Provincial police presented them to the children of police officers in need, helping them study online during the pandemic.
On the occasion, the Lai Chau Provincial Police Department’s Youth Union launched the Volunteer Program - Winter 2021 and Border Spring 2022 with many diverse activities, such as voluntary blood donation, youth projects to light up border villages, social security programs.
Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Nguyen Viet Giang, Director of the Lai Chau Provincial Police Department recognized and praised the efforts and sense of responsibility to the community of the young police officers.
