Minister To Lam visits Thuan Thanh War Invalid Nursing Center
PSNews - Minister of Public Security General To Lam visited the Bac Ninh-based Thuan Thanh War Invalid Nursing Center on January 27.
Deputy Minister Major General Nguyen Van Long, Chief of the MPS Office; Lieutenant General To An Xo, Director of the Public Security Department of Organization and Personnel; Major General Hoang Duc Lung, and Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Tran Thanh Hai joined General Lam.
The center is the largest war veteran nursing center in the north and home to the most seriously injured soldiers. Currently, the center is treating 94 seriously wounded soldiers from 23 provinces and cities, most of whom require intensive care and support from medical staff and nurses.
In 2021, although the COVID-19 pandemic adversely affects the operation of the center, it deployed effective measures to ensure environmental sanitation and prevent the contagion of the coronavirus. Particularly, the center has coordinated with local health authorities to vaccinated 100% of wounded soldiers and medical staff against COVID-19.
During the visit, Minister To Lam inquired after the health of the war invalids being treated at the center. On behalf of the People's Public Security Forces, the Minister expressed the deep gratitude to the wounded soldiers for their great contributions and sacrifices for the revolutionary cause of the country.
Minister Lam also sent Tet greetings to leaders and employees of the Thuan Thanh War Invalid Nursing Center. He believed that in 2022 and the following years, the center will overcome all difficulties and successfully complete its tasks.
On the occasion of the 2022 Lunar New Year of Tiger, General Lam also extended his best wishes to the leaders and people of Bac Ninh province. On this occasion, Minister To Lam presented gifts to the Thuan Thanh War Invalid Nursing Center and wounded soldiers being treated at the center. The Bac Ninh Provincial Police Department also presented gifts to the center.
