Ministry of Public Security launches Electronic Public Security Magazine
The Ministry of Public Security held a conference to review 15 years of implementing Directive No. 15/2007/CT-BCA (V21) on promoting the development of information about science and technology in the People's Public Security Forces and launch the Electronic Public Security Magazine, on the afternoon of June 20, 2023, in Hanoi.
At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing the results achieved after 15 years of implementing Directive No.15, pointed out the limitations and shortcomings in scientific and technological information throughout the People's Public Security Forces over the past time, and proposed orientations and tasks to further develop scientific theories on the work of the People's Public Security Forces in the current situation.
At the meeting, Minister To Lam, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung and other delegates pressed the button to launch the Electronic Public Security Magazine.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, Minister To Lam requested that all public security agencies and units, including public security universities, academies and schools, renew their thinking and strengthen the leadership of their Party committees over the work of scientific and technological information, and determined the work as an integral part of their tasks.
Public security agencies and units at all levels should actively improve the quality of human resources for science and technology information work, invest more in building modern infrastructure and synchronous scientific and technological information system, and promote digital transformation in scientific and technological information.
Regarding the Electronic Public Security Magazine, Minister To Lam suggested that its staff should further improve its database, operate it in a smooth, professional, secure and safe manner, and gradually develop it as an official information channel of the Public Security Forces with public opinion-orienting information and in-depth articles on the work of ensuring security and order as well as force building, logistics and technical services of the People's Public Security Forces.
