MPS Emulation Group No.6 reviews “For National Security” emulation movement in first half
PSNews - The Emulation Group No.6 under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) organized a meeting to review the implementation of the “For National Security” emulation movement of its member units in the first 6 months of 2024, on the afternoon of July 30th, in Hanoi.
Director General of the Department of Foreign Relations under MPS Lieutenant General Dang Xuan Hong chaired the meeting.
In the first 6 months of 2024, under the sound leadership of the Public Security Central Party Committee and MPS leaders, the Emulation Group No.6 renewed a “For National Security” emulation movement across its member units with specific objects in line with activities to celebrate major celebrations and important political events of the country.
Regarding their professional work, the Emulation Group No.6’s member units effectively carried out their assigned tasks and basically met the set targets, while effectively implementing Resolution No.12 on building clean, strong, regular, elite and modern People's Public Security Forces to meet the task requirements in the new situation.
At the meeting, representatives from member units pointed out notable results of the “For National Security” emulation movement, as well as deeply analyzed the remaining shortcomings and limitations, and proposed approaches to successfully perform their assigned political tasks in the second half.
Concluding the meeting, Lieutenant General Dang Xuan Hong requested that the Emulation Group No.6’s member units should further enhance political and ideological education and attach more importance to building and duplicating role-models.
The chair also suggested member units should actively respond to other emulation movements in celebration of major events in the coming time launched by MPS, while organizing cultural, artistic and sports activities in member units, so as to create a joyful emulative atmosphere and promote internal solidarity and unity within the emulation group, contributing to successfully performing all assigned political tasks of the member units.
