MPS holds meeting in preparation for general conference to review education and training activities
Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on October 25 chaired a meeting with leaders from relevant departments, academies and schools under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on education and training in the Public Security Forces.
The meeting was seen as a preparation for a general conference to be held in early November by the MPS to review education and training activities of the Public Security Forces in 2021 and roll out new training plans for 2022. The conference will focus on discussing achievements and shortcomings in the field of education and training in the Public Security Forces in 2021, and propose measures to raise the quality of education and training in the Public Security Forces in the time to come.
At the current meeting, participants thoroughly studied and discussed approaches to implement the Minister of Public Security’s Directive on opening the 2021-2022 School Year in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, while fundamentally and comprehensively renewing education and training activities in the Public Security Forces.
They also summarized emulation and commendation work of the public security education and training sector in 2021.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To asked all relevant units to report on their preparations for the upcoming conference.
The Deputy Minister requested the Department of Training to coordinate closely with the MPS Office and other relevant units to hold the scheduled conference in a serious, scientific, effective, productive and safe way suitable for the current COVID-19 situation.
