MPS holds workshop on drafting documents for 77th National Public Security Conference
The Office of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), on November 30, held a seminar on drafting documents for the 77th National Public Security Conference.
The seminar saw attendance of members of the drafting group, representatives from ministerial-level agencies and units as well as provincial-level police departments.
Lieutenant General To An Xo, Chief of the MPS Office stressed that the meeting aimed to comment on draft documents for the 77th National Public Security Conference.
Three draft documents introduced at the meeting for discussion, include: Summary report on results of the task performances of the Public Security Forces in 2021; Resolution of the Public Security Central Party Committee on the tasks of protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety and force building in 2022; and Minister’s Directive on major tasks of the Public Security Forces in 2022.
At the meeting, delegates discussed and contributed valued ideas to the 3 draft documents, gave general assessments of the security, political and economic situation in the world and in the region, reviewed results of the task performances of the Public Security Forces in 2021 as well as suggested new key objectives for 2022.
