MPS honors outstanding policewomen

Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Deputy Minister in charge of the Ministry of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To attended and delivered a keynote speech at the ceremony.

The ceremony was also attended by Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Thi Ha, Vice Chairwoman of the National Committee for the Advancement of Women in Vietnam and Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women’s Union Nguyen Thi Thu Hien.

In 2023, the Minister of Public Security presented the “Typical Policewoman” Award to 20 female public security officers with outstanding achievements in all working fields. 

At the event, the Ministry of Public Security also praised 63 excellent policewomen representing more than 6,000 policewomen working at grassroots-level police posts.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To highly appreciated and commended excellent achievements of female public security officers nationwide in 2023.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To requested that all public security Women’s Union chapters and their members should endlessly study and implement Uncle Ho's Six Teachings, be ready to take on new challenging tasks, while further promoting social activities and meaningful programs carried out public security Women’s Union chapters and policewomen at all levels, contributing to beautifying the image of the Vietnamese policewomen among people.

Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To also asked public security Party committees and leaders of public security units and agencies at all levels to take good care of female public security officers, pay due attention to promoting and posting female public security officers, and prioritize female public security officers in the general personnel work and force building work so as to encourage female public security officers to successfully fulfill their assignments as well as foster sustainable happiness of their families.
