MPS leader visit Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha on occasion of 2566th Buddha's Birthday

Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang leading a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) visited the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) on the occasion of the 2566^th Buddha's Birthday (May 15, 2022).

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the MPS leadership, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang sent best wishes to dignitaries of the VBS as well as all Buddhist monks and followers across the country.

Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang thanked all Buddhists for their humanitarian activities and good deeds for the community over the past time and hoped that the VBS would continue to encourage Vietnamese Buddhists to comply with the laws and follow its slogan “Dharma - Nation - Socialism”. He also hoped that Buddhists nationwide would further support the People's Public Security Forces in maintaining security and order, contributing to the construction and defense of the Fatherland.

On behalf of the VBS, Most Venerable Thich Thanh Nhieu thanked the Deputy Minister and the Public Security Forces’ care for Vietnamese Buddhism and affirmed that the VBS would always assist the People's Public Security Forces in ensuring security and social order.

The Standing Deputy Chairman of the VBS Executive Council expressed his belief that the Public Security Forces will overcome all difficulties, successfully complete all assigned tasks, continue to maintain political security, and ensure social order and safety of the people.
