MPS leaders pay tribute to General Mai Chi Tho
On the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of General Mai Chi Tho (July 15, 1922 - July 15, 2022), a delegation of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Ho Chi Minh City and Nam Dinh Province Party Committees on July 12 visited and offered incense to General Mai Chi Tho at his house, located in District 3, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).
The delegation was led by General To Lam, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Public Security Central Party Committee and Minister of Public Security, Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo Member and Secretary of the HCMC Party Committee and Mr. Pham Gia Tuc, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Nam Dinh Provincial Party Committee.
General Le Hong Anh, former Politburo Member and former Minister of Public Security, and other leaders and former leaders of the MPS. Leaders of the HCMC Municipal Police Department also joined the delegation.
Minister To Lam and other members of the delegation offered incense to the former MPS leader and presented gifts to General Mai Chi Tho’s family.
The visit was followed by a scientific seminar named “General Mai Chi Tho’s contributions to the Vietnam People's Public Security Forces and the Party Committee, the Government and the People of Ho Chi Minh City”, co-hosted by the Public Security Central Party Committee and Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
