MPS opens camp for writers on Public Security Forces
The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) in collaboration with the Vietnam Writers’ Association opened the first literature camp for writers to create their literature works on the People’s Public Security Forces.
The opening ceremony, which was held in Dak Nong on March 14, saw the presence of Major General Nguyen Cong Bay, Vice Director of the Department of Party and Political Work, and former senior officials and well-known writers inside and outside the Public Security Forces.
This year’s festival has drawn the participation of 30 writers, who have made contributions to the literature and art of Vietnam and had literature works on the Public Security Forces.
During the 10-day camp, writers will make field trips to a number of police units in Dak Nong to get information for their future literature works.
