MPS plans to build 1,000 new homes to disadvantaged households in Ha Tinh
PSNews - The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) in coordiantion with authorities of Nghe An province and kind donors held a ceremony to inaugurate new model houses and provide funds to build 1,000 houses for poor local households, on June 23, in Son Ham commune, Huong Son District, Ha Tinh Province.
The event saw the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security.
According to Deputy Minister Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, the MPS has provided funds to build nearly 14,000 houses and some school hostels in the provinces of Son La, Dien Bien, Cao Bang, Lai Chau, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Yen Bai, Bac Kan, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Soc Trang.
The Deputy Minister also said that, after completing the new 2 house models in Huong Son District, the MPS will build other 1,000 houses for needy households in 13 districts, cities and towns in Ha Tinh province, and the project is expected to be completed by the upcoming National Day.
Speaking at the event, on behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leadership of the MPS, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang thanked the support of sponsors and kind donors and congratulated local households on their new homes. He hoped that, with the new house, they will feel secure to live and develop their houshold economy.
At the event, the sponsors also handed over the fund for the building of 1,000 new homes to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province.
Right after the handover ceremony of the model houses, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang and local officials visited, encouraged and congratulated the housing beneficiaries in locality.
