New Director of Lao Cai Provincial Police Department appointed
The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a ceremony on May 5 to announce decisions by the Minister of Public Security on posting of several positions at the Lao Cai Provincial Police Department.
The event saw the presence of Senior Colonel General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security and leaders of relevant departments under the MPS as well as senior officials of Lao Cai province.
According to the decisions announced by Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang, Senior Colonel Luu Hong Quang, former Director of the Lao Cai Provincial Police Department, has been appointed as Director of the Surveillance Department under the MPS while Senior Colonel Cao Minh Huyen, Vice Director of the Nghe An Provincial Police Department, has been appointed as new Director of the Lao Cai Provincial Police Department.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang congratulated the two police chiefs on their promotions and hoped that they would do their best to fulfil all given tasks in their new positions.
The two newly-appointed police officials expressed their delight at their new promotions and promised to accomplish all tasks given to them.
