Officials in charge of the Law on Amending and Supplementing Articles of the Law on Security Guards hold meeting
The Ministry of Public Security had a meeting with the Drafting Committee and the Editorial Team of the draft law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Security Guards, on the morning of April 13 in Hanoi.
Head of the Drafting Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung chaired the meeting. At the meeting, delegates heard the announcement of the decision to establish the Drafting Committee and the Editing Team of the draft law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Security Guards.
Accordingly, Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung is the Head of the Drafting Committee while Commander of the Guard Command Major General Tran Hai Quan is Head of the Editorial Team.
During the discussion, delegates basically agreed with the content of the draft law but also gave many opinions to contribute to the improvement of the draft law.
They underlined that he development of the Law on Security Guards should ensure synchronization and consistency with the current legal system and in line with the progress of the country’s international integration process.
They also suggested conducting more research on regulations permitting operations of security guards in particularly important events and activities.
Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung highly appreciated the sense of responsibility of the delegates and their comments, and asked the Drafting Board and the Editorial Team to summarize their opinions so as to perfect the draft law.
