People’s Public Security Team wins 3 medals at National Youth Sepak Takraw Championship 2024
The People’s Public Security Team won three medals at the National Youth Sepak Takraw Championship 2024 recently taking place at the Dong Nai Gymnasium.
The National Youth Sepak Takraw Championship 2024 was jointly held by the Sports Authority of Vietnam under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Sepak Takraw Federation and the Dong Nai Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The competition began on July 15th, gathering more than 100 athletes from provinces, cities, ministries and sectors, who were organized into the two age groups of under 16 and 17-20 years old, and competed in 14 categories.
At this year’s tournament, the public security team competed in four categories, namely women’s doubles, women’s trio, and teams of four women for the two age groups.
With their great effort, athletes of the People’s Public Security Youth Sepak Takraw Team won one gold in the women’s double event, one silver in the women’s trio event and one bronze in the team of four women event.
