Police in Ho Chi Minh City reinforce 100 officers to step up Project 06

Permanent deputy head of the Project 06 Governmental Working Group, deputy head of the Project Working Group of the Ministry of Public Security and Deputy Minister of Public security Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc worked with leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department on the implementation of the project, on July 1.

After listening to reports from leaders of the local police on the results of the implementation of the project, General Ngoc recognized and applauded the positive results of the local police in applying population, e-identification ad e-authentication data to national digital transformation. He praised the city police leadership for deployment of 100 young qualified police officers to communes and wards to accelerate the project.

He requested that the local police should overcome any difficulties to successfully implement the project as scheduled.

On the same day, Deputy Minister Nguyen Duy Ngoc leading a mission of the Ministry of Public Security to inspect the implementation of Project 06 at Hiep Binh Chanh ward, Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh City.

After having checking machinery and facilities used for the project implementation, the deputy minister had a meeting with the leaders of the district police. He said that Project 06 is an interconnected technological system from the Central level to local. He also underscored the importance of gathering information of citizens at the ward level as well as of cleaning inputs on the National Population Database and gathering.

General Ngoc asked the police in Hiep Binh Chanh to try their best to speed up the implementation of Project 06 in the coming time so as to put full and exact information about the residents in the ward on the National Population Database by December 31, 2022.
