Police units in Central region, Central Highlands asked to accelerate disbursement of 2022 public investment

Deputy Minister of Public Security Major General Le Van Tuyen chaired a meeting on May 31 in Hue City to discuss the disbursement of public investment in 2022 of police units in Central region and Central Highlands.

The event saw representatives from the Office of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), leaders of the Department of Planning and Finance, Department of Construction and Barrack Management under the MPS, and police departments of 19 provinces and cities in the Central region and Central Highlands, and the Da Nang-based Hospital 199 of the MPS.

At the meeting, leaders of relevant units and agencies briefed the Deputy Minister on the results of implementing investment plans in the first five months of 2022.

Representatives of the local police departments also mentioned difficulties and the causes of the slow disbursement of investment capital in 2022 as well as proposed solutions to those problems.

Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen asked the police units in the Central region and Central Highlands, and Hospital 199 to strictly follow the directions of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Public Security, and other functional agencies to speed up the disbursement of investment capital.

They should consider it as an important political task to be completed in 2022, while ensuring quality of the investment projects, as well as completing documents, and procedures in accordance with the laws, Deputy Minister Tuyen stressed.

The MPS leader also requested that the police units should review their assigned projects to revise the plans to implement the project, ensuring the project progress as scheduled.
