Public security health sector workers hard and effectively in COVID-19 prevention and control during Tet
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security and Head of the Steering Committee for Disease Prevention and Control under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), chaired a meeting on February 2 on the results of Covid prevention and control during the Traditional Lunar New Year (Tet).

Representatives from the Steering Committee and various units under the MPS briefed delegates on the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic as well as pandemic prevention and control efforts of all police units during the Tet holiday.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son expressed his delight at stable situations of political security, social order and safety in localities and the country as a whole before, during and after Tet.
He said, the number of new COVID-19 infection cases still rose but few deaths were recorded.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son applauded the efforts of the health sector of the Public Security Forces during the Tet.
In order to improve the efficiency of COVID-19 prevention and control in the coming time, the deputy minister requested the Department of Health to continue to regularly and accurately upgrade the national anti-Covid database with the number of public security officers, soldiers and workers who have been given the 3rd dose of COVID-19 vaccines.
Major hospitals under the MPS should mobilize all resources to treat public security officers infected with COVID-19.
