Public Security Sports Association fully capable of hosting 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Championship

Deputy Minister of Public Security and Chairman of the Public Security Sports Association of Vietnam Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang and President of the World Police Taekwondo Federation Bang Seung Ho co-chaired the meeting.

On behalf of leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the Public Security Sports Association of Vietnam, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang warmly welcomed the the World Police Taekwondo Federation’s delegation, led by President Bang Seung Ho, to Vietnam for the meeting on the organization of the 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Championship.

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang highlighted the policy of the Government and orientations of the Ministry of Public Security’s leaders for development of the sports movement in the Public Security Forces, saying that the Public Security Sports Association of Vietnam was established with the aim of boosting sports movements in the Public Security Forces and promoting exchange between the Vietnamese People's Public Security Forces and international friends.

Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang highly appreciated the World Police Taekwondo Federation's plan to organize the 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Championship in Vietnam, underscoring that the decision to organize the Championship in Vietnam demonstrates the trust of the World Police Taekwondo Federation in the Vietnamese Public Security Sports Association’s ability to hold such an international sport tourney.

Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang assured that the Public Security Sports Association with the great support of leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the close coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and branch- and local -level federations under the National Sports Association as well as much experience in organizing major events of the Ministry of Public Security is fully capable of organizing regional and international sport events.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Bang Seung Ho gave brief introduction of the association to Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang and expressed his pleasure while coordinating with the Vietnamese Public Security Sports Association to organize the upcoming 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Championship.

Mr. Bang Seung Ho affirmed that the World Police Taekwondo Federation will do its best to coordinate closely with  the Vietnamese Public Security Sports Association to successfully hold the 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Championship in Vietnam.
