Scientific research effectively serves operation of Public Security Forces: Deputy Minister of Public Security

The Public Security Department of Science, Strategy and History (DSSH) held a meeting on January 14 to review the sector’s task performance in 2021.The event saw the presence of Deputy Minister of Public Security Major General Le Quoc Hung.
Over the past year, the DSSH has paid due attention to promoting the scientific, theoretical and historical research movement in the Public Security Forces as well as conducting major ministerial-level scientific research projects.
Last year, the department also compiled and published various books featuring the heroic history of the Public Security Forces.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested that the DSSH to be a pioneer in comprehensively renovating and modernizing methods of scientific research in the forces.
Regarding theoretical research, the Deputy Minister asked the department to focus on studying new issues related to the forces’ missions, such as information security, state management of social order and security in the current situation.
At the event, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung presented the “Best in Emulation Movement” Flag from the Ministry of Public Security to a sub-unit of the DSSH.
