Thanh Hoa police present fire extinguishers to disadvantaged family
In response to the “My family has fire extinguishers” movement, the Police Division of Fire and Rescue under the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department in coordination with the Hoang Hoa District Police Station and local authority presented 300 fire extinguishers to disadvantaged families and security protection teams in Hoang Son commune of Hoang Hoa District, on the afternoon of July 5th, 2024.
At the program, fire and rescue police officers updated local people on the current situation of fire and explosion in the province, pointed out main causes of fire and provided people with knowledge and skills to avoid fires and explosions in their daily lives, especially during the current hot weather.
In addition, the local firefighters also instructed people on fire safety and fighting skills, especially skills to use fire extinguishers and skills to escape from fires, as well as how to safely store and maintain fire extinguishers and other fire equipment.
The local fire police’s program demonstrates their high sense of responsibility as well as their compassion and empathy for disadvantaged families in the province, contributing to raising local people’s awareness of complying with laws and regulations on fire prevention and fighting and minimizing the risk of fire and explosion in resident areas.
