Vietnam’s local police delegation visits Jakarta Police Command
PSNews - Director of the An Giang Provincial Police Department Senior Colonel Lam Phuoc Nguyen, leading a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam in September visited and worked with the Jakarta Police Command Center.
As part of entourage of the Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on his visit to Indonesia and attending the 43rd ASEAN Summit, from September 4 to 7, the delegation of Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam was headed by Deputy Minister Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang.
At the meeting, CEO of the Jakarta Police Command Center Colonel Marsudian to briefed the guests on their general plan to ensure security and safety for the 43rd ASEAN Summit.
Colonel Marsudian to underlined that the Jakarta Police Force handled a largest amount of work related to security and order in the country’s capital city with 12 million people as well as controlled the large traffic system and responded to lots of emergency reports and cases.
On behalf of the delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, Senior Colonel Lam Phuoc Nguyen thanked Colonel Marsudian to for the informative briefing, praising the Jakarta Police Force for its great effort, careful plan and effective deployment in ensuring absolute safety and security for the 43rd ASEAN Summit.
Senior Colonel Lam Phuoc Nguyen stated that leaders of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam hope that the two sides will strengthen bilateral cooperation mechanisms and coordinate to effectively implement agreements signed by leaders of the two sides.
