Exhibition features youth’s contributions to national construction and defense

The museum and the management board of Hoa Lo Prison Historical Relic in Hanoi have organized the event to mark the 90th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) (March 26).
The exhibition, featuring the Vietnamese youth’s sacrifices and contributions to national salvation, has attracted a large number of young visitors.
Works on display at the exhibition include documents, objects, photos, and records of interviews of historical witnesses, soldiers, and youth union members who joined the two national resistance wars against the US and the French.
Mr. Duong Tu Minh, a former soldier, said exhibited items remind him of the time when he and his friends left Hanoi City to join the army.
The exhibition is divided into two parts, featuring stories of young Vietnamese who sacrificed their lives for today national independence, and young Vietnamese people’s determination to overcome any challenges to contribute to national construction and defense.
The display will run until April 30th.
