The 2023 Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival will take place from June 3 to June 6 with more than 60 programmes, cultural, sporting, and tourism activities being held in Nha Trang city and other cities across Khanh Hoa province. A number of scientific conferences and fine art exhibitions will also be held during the event.
Nguyen Van Thien, director of the Department of Culture and Sports, said that in order to make thorough preparations for the occasion, the locality has upgraded infrastructure and tourism facilities; ensured social order and security, as well as food safety and hygiene; along with taking relevant COVID-19 prevention measures.
The organisation of the event will continue affirming the nation’s sovereignty over the sea and islands, including the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes, thereby improving local fishermen’s knowledge for both fishing and aquaculture in the East Sea.
