Third HCMC Tourism Week slated for this December

Addressing at the press conference held on October 31, Director of the Ho Chi Minh Municipal Department of Tourism Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa said that, the 3rd Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Week 2023 with take place on December 4-10. The event gathers the participation of all 22 local district and Thu Duc City. 

According to Director of the HCMC tourism promotion's center Nguyen Cam Tu, the tourism week will feature special tourism, sport and musical events, along with promotional programs to stimulate shopping and travel demand across the southern economic hub.

The highlight of the program will be the Techcombank Ho Chi Minh City International Marathon, along with the launch of districts’ new tourism products and the city’s travel stimulation programs.

On this occasion, the City Tourism Department kicked off a check-in model and fun tourism symbol design contest themed “My Beloved City”, aiming to promote the quality of and diversity local tourism products.

The contest is open to all Vietnamese citizens aged over 16 and will receive entries from November 2 to 26 with a total prize value of 630 million VND.
