PSNews - The Department of Telecommunication and Cipher under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a ceremony on October 3 to roll out its action plans for the remaining months of 2018.

Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister Police attended and delivered a keynote speech at the meeting.
Over the past few years, the telecommunication and cipher sector of the public security forces has made positive changes in its operation and successfully fulfilled both regular and unexpected tasks.
Particularly, the telecommunication and cipher force concentrated on researching, designing, evaluating, planning a number of projects, and promoted its role in managing, providing technical and professional guidance for the operation of the communications and cipher systems in the entire Public Security Forces, as well as in connecting them to the national network, contributing to the task accomplishment of the entire Public Security Forces.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son recognized and applauded the sense of dedication and contributions of the officers and soldiers of the sector to the cause of protecting national security and social order and safety.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son also highlighted several important tasks for the Department in the near future, including consolidation of the Party organization and organizational structure of the unit, Party and force building, ideological and political education, enhancement of internal solidarity and personnel work.
Deputy Minister Son also asked the Department to well prepare a working plan for 2019 in line with its new organizational structure.
