The event saw the participation of Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee Ngo Hoang Ngan and Deputy Chairwoman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Council Trinh Thi Minh Thanh.

Reports delivered by leaders of the Quang Ninh Provincial Police at the working session read that, in 2019, the local police force has well implemented the tasks assigned by the Public Security Central Party Committee, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and advised local authorities at all levels to give right directions for the work of ensuring local security, social order and safety.

The local police force has also promoted the movement of “All people protecting National security”, focused on strengthening the communal police force and gained various positive results, contributing to creating a more favorable condition for socio-economic development of the locality.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam spoke highly of the Quang Ninh Provincial Police’s achievements in 2019.

Regarding their core missions in the time to come, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam urged the Quang Ninh Provincial Police to step up its efforts to ensure absolute safety for the upcoming Party Congresses at all levels in preparation for the 13th National Party Congress as well as for the ASEAN events in 2020.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam asked the unit to take initiative in grasping the local security and order situation, and give timely advice to the local Party committees and local authorities in State management of security and order work, while bringing into full play the comprehensive strength of the whole political system, upholding the leaders’ responsibilty in protecting national security, maintaining social order.

The Deputy Minister of Public Security required the Quang Ninh Provincial Police to resolutely attack crimes and ensure order during the upcoming Lunar New Year Festival.

Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam also asked the Quang Ninh Provincial Police to focus on Party building and force building, and the work of consolidating the communal police force.
