Hung Yen Police hold the 14th Party Congress for term 2020-2025
The Party Committee of the Hung Yen Provincial Police Department, on June 23 held the 14th Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term. Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security, attended and delivered a keynote speech.

According to a report at the Congress, the Party Committee of the Hung Yen Provincial Police Department led and local police units to effectively implement their tasks and achieve the set targets of police work during the 2015 – 2020 term. It also gave sound and timely guidance to local police forces to solve complicated issues related to crime and social order arising in the province.
Under the leadership of the Party Committee, the Hung Yen police discovered and prosecuted 3,363 criminal cases with over 4,000 suspects, handled 1,767 cases of administrative violation. They also launched a number of campaigns to maintain social order and traffic safety during festivals and holidays in the locality.
Speaking at the Congress, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son congratulated and praised the results and achievements that the Party organization of the Hung Yen provincial police had achieved in the past five years.
Regarding the major objectives and missions in the next term, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son suggested that the Party organization should implement all directives and working plans of the Public Security Central Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security on maintaining social order and safety in the locality, as well as aim higher and win bigger achievements each year.
The provincial police Party organization should also focus on building a clean and strong police force, seriously abide by the principles of Party building while upholding the principle of democratic centralism, self-criticism and criticism along with promoting inspection and cementing solidarity and unity across the Hung Yen provincial police force.
