The meeting saw the attendance of leaders of the MPS and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, Social Affairs.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc To expressed his gratitude to officers reinforced to the Southern battlefield during the country’s resistance war against American invaders for their sacrifice and contribution for the country.

During the war, more than 11,000 public security officers were reinforced to the Southern battlefield, and they made glorious victories, contributing to liberating the South and unifying the country in Spring 1975.
At the meeting, delegates emotionally recalled their unforgettable days and fierce battles. At that time, all of them were young public security officers and soldiers but they were all ready to devote their lives and youth for national independence and freedom.

On behalf of the MPS, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To highly appreciated the work of the Liaison Committee of public security officers reinforced to the Southern battlefield, saying that the liaison committee carried out various meaningful activities in support of its members.
Meanwhile, members have responded actively to the movements and activities launched by the committee, contributing to promoting the fine tradition of the revolutionary public security officer.
