General To Lam, Member of the Polituro and Minister of Public Security attended and delivered a speech at the event. The meeting also saw the presence of other leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Hai Duong Provincial Police Department, the Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee and Provincial People's Council.

In a warm atmosphere, officers, soldiers and leaders of the Hai Duong police recalled their 75-year glorious history. Over the pastyears, the police forces of Hai Duong provincehave continuously developed and successfully fulfilled all political tasks, contributing to the cause of national construction and defense and the country's socio-economic development.

Speaking at the event, Minister To Lam congratulated generations of the Hai Duong policeon their great achievements.

Regarding their tasks in the coming time, the Minister urged the Hai Duong police to strictlyfollowthe Party's guidelines, especially the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, while comprehensively innovating their working methods.

The Hai Duong police should pay due attention to building a revolutionary, elite, and gradually modernized local police force by 2030, he emphasized.

In order to achieve the goals, the Provincial Police Department of Hai Duong should invest more in facilities and equipment, pay due attention to Party and political work as well as provide sufficient logistics, technical services and good working conditions for the local police forces to perform their tasks. 

The Hai Duong provincial police should serve as the firm support for the local authorities and people.
