Minister To Lam urges Ha Nam Provincial Police to focus on Party building and force building

Briefing the minister and other delegates on achievements of the Ha Nam Provincial Police over the past, Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Trung, Director of the Ha Nam Provincial Police stated that the police force of Ha Nam has done a good job in advising authorities at all levels on security and social order and safety, and closely cooperated with relevant agencies in effectively carrying out the missions of ensuring of national security, social order and safety as well as fighting hostile forces.
The local police force also took professional measures and campaigns against crimes in a synchronous manner, while Continuously enhancing Party building and force building, to meet the task requirements in the new period.
Speaking at the working session, on behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, Minister To Lam applauded and highly appreciated the efforts and achievements made by police officers and soldiers of the Ha Nam Provincial Police over the past time.
He also thanked leaders of Ha Nam province for supporting the police force in general and the Ha Nam police in particular.
Agreeing with the Ha Nam Provincial Police’s plans for the second half of 2017, Minister To Lam emphasized that they should underscore Party building and the force building as their core assignments while frequently promoting solidarity, upholding sense of responsibility and strictly observe the police discipline.
The Ha Nam Provincial Police should also focus on implementating Resolution 4 of the 12th Party Central Committee on enhancing Party building and reorganization; preventing degradation in political ideology, morality and lifestyle of Party members, as well as rolling back manifestations of “self-evolution” and “self-transformation” inside the Party.
Additionally, the force should actively detect, prevent and fight economic and environmental crimes, corruption; open campaigns and raids on crimes; and consolidate fire prevention.
Moreover, The provincial police was also urged to well implement mass mobilization work and the “All people protecting national security” movement, contributing to socio-economic development of the province and the country.
