The Cyber Security Department under the Ministry of Public Security kicked off a training course on cyber security for officers and soldiers from the Public Security Ministerial Office and the northern police units, with the aims of meeting national cyber security requirements in the current context.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Lieutenant General Hoang Phuoc Thuan, Director of the Cyber Security Department stressed, "This is the first training course on cyber security for officers and soldiers of the Public Security Ministerial Office and northern police units, contributing to protecting the State's secrets, preventing hackers and enhancing the efficiency of combating hi-tech crimes.
The course instructors will also provide typical examples of cyber security incidents around the world to help officers and soldiers acquire necessary knowledge and skills to deal with specific cyber issues, and disable malware in data systems.
